Adult Outdoor Soccer begins Wednesday, May 5 at 5:30 and Sunday, May 9 at noon at the Dryden High School.
We are discussing whether to begin at 5:30 or 6:00 PM on Wednesdays; if it matters to you, contact Bill at the Email link below.
Dryden Soccer Club adult indoor play runs from November through April each year.
We play on Sundays at noon at the Dryden High School large gym and Fridays at 7 PM at the Dryden Elementary School. The 2009/2010 season begins Friday, November 6 and Sunday, November 8 and ends April 25.
This program is co-sponsored by the Town of Dryden Recreation Department. The minimum age for this program is 16.
For indoor soccer we maintain a roster of 25-28 players who are "regulars" - commit to playing 3 weeks out of 4 - and who pay a $10 roster fee. We welcome non-roster players on a space-available basis. There is a $2 per play fee for all players, roster or non-roster. (And yes, we can accept "Friday only" or "Sunday only" roster players.)
At each session, we can accommodate 21 players. We play 6 on a side (keeper + 5 out), and at maximum will rotate 3 teams with each team having a sub. If more than 21 players show up for a session, roster players have priority. Be on time! If you show up after play has begun, we will not stop to adjust teams to accomodate you!
Inclement Weather Policy: When the schools are closed due to weather, all after-school activities are cancelled. The Web site will be updated if this is determined early in the day; otherwise, listen to the local radio stations.
Dryden Soccer Club adult outdoor play runs from May through September of each year.
Play is every Wednesday from 6:00-7:30pm and every Sunday from noon-2:00pm at the Dryden High School field 5 (behind the high school, the baseball backstop is labelled "5"). This is an informal coed game, and all players age 16-up are welcome. If you have never played but want to try it, or are considering returning to soccer after several years not playing, this is a great opportunity!We also have a team in the Ithaca outdoor coed league.
